Leadership North Las Vegas is a program that helps local executives get to know their city and their area "behind the scenes". Annual classes enrich themselves in the social, political, civic and business systems that drive our community. Moreover, they learn more about themselves and each other with intense leadership training they can apply to their companies and their careers.
Leadership North Las Vegas will bring together individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences to develop their leadership potential, become connected to the community, and expand their professional and social network.
Mission Statement
The mission of Leadership North Las Vegas is to development current and emerging leaders who will rise to the challenge and accept responsibility to bring about the betterment of North Las Vegas and the community at large.
Program Summary
Leadership North Las Vegas consists of ten sessions that include a two-day, one night opening advance session, and nine regular program session days. The two-day advance session is structured to form a cohesive group as well as examine various leadership and personality styles.
Each session will focus on various aspects of the North Las Vegas and at-large community as well as develop and enhance critical leadership skills.

How do I Apply?
Leadership North Las Vegas looks for individuals who are leaders in their profession, involved in their communities, and have an interest in shaping its future. Participants in the program must be committed to improving their community, committed to attend all scheduled sessions, and complete any outside assignments.

Do I need to work or be a resident of North Las Vegas?
No. Many of our business leaders work or live outside the North Las Vegas city limits. Participants must however show a commitment to become involved in the North Las Vegas community.
Fees Deadlines for 2010-2011
Tuition for North Las Vegas Chamber members is $1,700. Tuition for non-members is $2,000.
Tuition covers all program costs, including materials, meals, transportation, room costs at the opening advance session, and graduation. Participants chosen for the program must have full tuition paid to the North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce by August 31, 2011.
