Leadership North Las Vegas is a leadership development program through the North Las Vegas Chamber Foundation, a 501 (c )(3) organization, designed to offer participants the opportunity to experience various aspects of the North Las Vegas community while incorporating leadership building skills that can be used to build a better community.
Leadership North Las Vegas will bring together individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences to develop their leadership potential, become connected to the community, and expand their professional and social network.

Leadership North Las Vegas consists of nine sessions that include a two-day, one night opening advance session, and eight regular program session days. The two-day advance session is structured to form a cohesive group as well as examine various leadership and personality styles. Each session will focus on various aspects of the North Las Vegas and at-large community as well as develop and enhance critical leadership skills.

How do I Apply?
Leadership North Las Vegas looks for individuals who are leaders in their profession, involved in their communities, and have an interest in shaping its future. Participants in the program must be committed to improving their community, committed to attend all scheduled sessions, and complete any outside assignments.
Do I need to work or be a resident of North Las Vegas?
No. Many of our business leaders work or live outside the North Las Vegas city limits. Participants must however show a commitment to become involved in the North Las Vegas community.
Fees Deadlines for 2009-2010
Tuition for North Las Vegas Chamber members is $1,200. Tuition for non-members is $1,800. Participants that join the Chamber within six months from the start of the program will receive $250 credit towards their membership.
Tuition covers all program costs, including materials, meals, transportation, room costs at the opening session, and graduation. Participants chosen for the program must have full tuition paid to the North Las Vegas Chamber Foundation by August 31, 2009.
Leadership North Las Vegas is a program of the Chamber's 501(c)(3) Foundation and tuition may be tax deductible.
