Ambassadors

The North Las Vegas Ambassadors serve the Chamber in a variety of ways. They have fun and meet many other members as part of their activities.

Economic Development Committee

The Economic Development Committee has two primary missions:

  1. Support the City of North Las Vegas Economic Development Department to help local companies expand and to encourage out-of-town companies to site new operations in North Las Vegas.
  2. Act independently to promote the local economy and grow jobs in our community.

Government Affairs Committee

Members of the North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce enjoy representation and advocacy in the halls of government thanks to the Government Affairs Committee. The mission of this committee is to promote pro-business climate at the local and state levels of government by monitoring voting records of public policy officials and supporting pro-business legislation.

Military Affairs Committee

The Military Affairs Committee has two missions:

  1. To support and recognize our local military community of active duty personnel, veterans, reserve personnel and their respective families.
  2. Help North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce businesses conduct more business with Nellis and Creech Air Foce Bases, which represent a $5.1 billion economic impact on the valley.

Small Business Advisory Board

One of the most important objectives of the North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce is to superserve small business owners. Programs created by this committee are designed to:

  1. Help small businesses make money.
  2. Help small businesses save money.
  3. Supervise the transfer of knowledge on how to operate a successful small business.
  4. Assist small business owners to increase the breadth and depth of their business relationships.

NLVCC Foundation

Quality of life through better education sums up the mission of the North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

  1. The Foundation has adopted three schools to improve educational opportunities.
  2. The Foundation works with the Teen Entrepreneurs program to help young people learn about and engage in business.
  3. Professional development is offered through Leadership North Las Vegas.
